  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a very enjoyable and insightful experience which included finding out a lot about myself and what I’d want to do in the future.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility from the get go and was asked of my opinion regularly which made me feel part of the team. There were times where I was twiddling my thumbs a bit but overall it was great.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days were busier than others but for the most part I had a lot of my own work to get on with.

  • A lot as mentioned above! I was able to conduct client calls and viewings on my own within the second week!

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Unfortunately this isn’t quite the part of real Estate is like to get into but it was very helpful all the same.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very nice, friendly, full of jokes. Everyone is very considerate and loves to get people involved. Whether it’s quizzes, cake or going out for lunch.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Apart from a few events set up by HR, the rest was up to us really. They made a big point of going on coffee dates with other members of staff in different teams.
