The Role
Really enjoyed it and have a great insight to insurance and AON
Colleagues are very friendly and inclusive but understand they don’t have loads of work for us
Manager was very good and could always go to him with any questions
Purely because the insurance market is pretty inactive over the summer due to 1/7
Less responsibility but because i worked with a new team each week which have a great overview but less in-depth work
Think I’ve learnt a lot about working with other people and in teams during this project which is benefic for my degree
The Company
Really good, active and busy which made it a nice environment to work in
Well set up - just the lack of work due to the summer months in the market which is a hard to avoid issue
Lunch and learn, internship days and the CSR all helped develop us as people loads
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
I’d really like to work within AON in the future - a great company
The Culture
The social aspect to the job was one of the best parts! All the interns came together really well which was great
It was really expansive but for what we were doing and the location. That was understandable
Very good - London night life so a really enjoyable night out! The only issue is trying to get home etc or you don’t live in London
Loads of activities offered within the company eg yoga on the 42 floor, big tv screen to watch sport together after work etc
