The Role
Quite a lot, I never hated going to work. The culture is friendly and promotes learning
Quite valued, I felt like I was adding value and contributing with my work. Though, the nature of work depends on the desk/ rotation you are on
A lot by my line manager who really supports interns and learning. Some members of teams are definitely more keen to help than others but it's also up to you to put yourself out there
Depends on what stage of the internship. Towards deadlines you are generally busier and once deadlines have completed you might have a bit of downtime before being allocated more work. Your balance also depends on how you manage your time
They can't give you that much because you are an intern and are still learning
Bloomberg utilisation and excel skills improving
The Company
Supportive and friendly
Quite organised, some issues with computers though
Invests in your training (1 week) at the start of your internship. If you want to learn something technical, you can find the relevant people to teach you and they are usually happy to help
Depends on capacity of the desk you want to work on
The Culture
It was alright
London is expensive
Shoreditch is quite near
You can sign up for different networks and get involved in CSR
