The Role
Thoroughly enjoyable
Very valued, contributing and given responsibility
Given support and guidance by various people in the business , it was very good
Depending on the desk, but on the whole very busy
Obviously a considerable amount given that we were interns, attended meetings
Very helpful learning experience for finance, professionalism, dealing with and managing situations and the standards I need to set for myself going forward
The Company
Incredibly friendly
Very well structured with a variety of different tasks that had to be undertaken that tested a number of different skills
A lot, we had a number of different training schemes from Bloomberg, to excel to python.
Subsidised/Company Gym
It depends on how you view the industry, but in terms of progression of young people in the firm I think it is an attractive time to be here.
The Culture
Yes there was a good social scene, particularly helped by a friendly year group
Extremely expensive
Yes from social to sporting events!
