  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • As my first finance experience, I really enjoyed it. Barclays has a really open culture which really motivates you to learn.

    • Despite the fact that I am an intern, I am never afraid to say my opinion and it's always valued and considered.

    • Whenever I was needed help everyone was very keen to help me and explain thoroughly the situation.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • I was busy but it combined various work elements - meeting etc, so I never felt too tired or demotivated.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given full responsibility to do some objectives since day one. I decided what was the best method for me to do a task and asked for feedback midway to improve.

    • The skills I've learnt are totally valuable. I feel more mature and that I can handle situations in a more professional way.

    • Yes, I made very good friends.

    • It is expensive to get food and to go for a drink with friends.
