The Role
Really enjoyed it - met some great people and learned a lot
I felt fairly well valued, and was given responsibility for more influential pieces of work or processes, which increased with time
You can often change manager or supervisor due to changing projects, so you often have to start these relationships again. However, I've found my managers to be very supportive, when I've gone out of my way to ask for their guidance.
This varied. At times I was extremely busy - at others not very.
This increased significantly over the course of the placement, and I feel ended at a level that would be considered quite high for an intern.
I don't expect the skills I've learn will help me significantly in my final year of university, however they will stand me in extremely good stead for 'beyond' when I subsequently return to work.
The Company
This varied. I was working on client site the majority of the time so the office atmosphere was dictated by the client. When I worked in our head office, I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
