The Role
I enjoyed the internship experience a lot. It was great to learn so much in a completely new environment from professionals. Additionally, it was great to meet so many new people and experience a totally different environment to what I have done so far as a student. It was a great experience.
I enjoyed the internship experience a lot. It was great to learn so much in a completely new environment from professionals.I Was doing the tasks of an Analyst- taking on daily tasks. As well as this I was tasked with working on projects to be used for actual clients which was brilliant.
A lot
Varied- at the beginning not much but built up fast. Initially, there was not much but as the internship and my experience built up I began to take on more and more tasks & ask for more work which meant my day naturally became more and more busy. Towards the end I was.
Was doing the tasks of an Analyst- taking on daily tasks. As well as this I was tasked with working on projects to be used for actual clients which was brilliant. There were times where my work was used in actual pitches etc and I could see the outcome of my work in real life.

Additionally, it was great to meet so many new people and experience a totally different environment to what I have done so far as a student. It was a great experience. I developed a lot of key skills and hopefully will help.
The Company
Everyone was extremely friendly and always more than happy to take time out to help you or explain anything to you. Even whilst working everyone was extremely patient and supportive throughout the process of learning. It was a great atmosphere and I really enjoyed it & would definitely recommend to anyone.
It was well organised with continuous feedback sessions and events to check in on the interns. For example we had 2 major feedback sessions and also drop in sessions on a fortnightly basis. I think one more feedback session in around week 7 would be even more beneficial going forward.
They are extremely appealing. The bank is a true industry leader and gives experience to people at a junior level too which perhaps would not be happening at other banks. It is somewhere that really invests in its people and really comes across so it is an extremely appealing place to work.
The Culture
Expensive-its London
Good but expensive. It is London so there are a huge amount of places to go at whatever time and has a range of prices etc but is very expensive. Really good on a Friday night or evening but always somewhere to go at whatever time if required, good fun.
