The Role
Excellent 10 weeks with large exposure to all parts of the business gaining a great understanding of how everything works.
Nomura has a great atmosphere on the trading floor and a flat structure, even as an intern I felt valued.
Excellent HR support, helping with any issues I had.
Very busy but this was expected.
Good considering the difficulty of enabling interns to contribute in a bank.
I feel I learnt more in 10 weeks than my first 2 years at university...
The Company
Very good team relationships.
Good, however the selection process for the rotations could have been better.
We had training from week 1, and most members of staff had the time to help you.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing, the structure of the company and early responsibility are big players here.
The Culture
Very good group of interns and very diverse.
Very expensive being in central London.
Very good being in central London.
A few sports clubs run by the company.
