The Role
I enjoyed my experience at Nomura. I learned so much especially thanks to the fact that we worked with 3 different teams during the summer.
My colleagues were really nice and they were always available to answer some questions. I would like to come back to work here because the atmosphere is very positive.
People on the trading floor as well as HR guided me a lot.
Quite busy days! Indeed, we had a lot of events organised by HR such as weekly challenges, trading games, product breakfasts and we also needed to work on projects with our teams.
My teams gave me many responsibilities! I was able to attend client meetings and to lead some projects.
I discovered many different products and the technical aspects I learned will be very useful for my final year at university. In addition to this, I developed communication and team management skills thanks to the several presentations we did.
The Company
Everyone was really nice.
Perfect. When we arrived on the first day, everything was already settled, we did not have any IT problem which is exceptional for interns! During all the summer internship, HR regularly organised catch ups and events with all the interns which was also great.
We had a full week of training at the beginning of the internship.
Subsidised Canteen
I would really like to work within this bank.
The Culture
Yes!
It was easy to socialise thanks to the several networking events that were organised.
Great! Every Thrusday all employees go to the Terrace to spend some time together in a friendly atmosphere.
I did not take part into other activities.
