  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I thorouglhy enjoyed my placement at Groupe Seb

    • I felt extremely valued and part of a large working family.

    • Any problem or issues I had with my work I would be given full support by my manager or other interns.

    • There was always something to be done on a daily basis. I really appreciated the work life balance I had at Groupe Seb as my colleagues helped me manage my daily tasks efficiently.

    • I was pleased with the responsibility assigned to me by my manager through having my own projects to work on alongside group tasks.

    • I have gained an insight into how the marketing industry works and know the steps I would like to take in my career after university.

    • A friendly hard working office.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • I had a thorough induction and plan set up for my arrival. Over my first few weeks I was introduced to everybody at the company and gained an understanding of their roles within the business.

    • I was given further training both on and off site which will help me in my role and my further career.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    • The U.K. office is smaller versus the EU head office which does decrease the chances of possible new vacancies. However, with different brands and product categories present at Groupe Seb I would hope there would be future opportunities.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes, similar like minded students.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Windsor is quite an expensive part of the U.K. versus the rest of the U.K. but still liveable on the placement salary.

    • London is a short train ride away which is very ideal.

    • There where many social events organised by the company outside of work.
