The Role
The Nomura trading floor is a friendly environment, and the work given is engaging.
You will likely do some work that is relevant to their own projects, which they are grateful for.
A good support network is provided. There is always someone you can speak to about an issue.
This internship will keep you on your toes for the most part. It's hard work, but this is an investment bank.
Given some responsibility on relevant projects. As much as you can handle really.
Huge development in relevant financial skills on the internship (excel, market trading, etc.)
The Company
Good for the most part. People are very friendly.
Well-organised programme. Can't complain.
The firm seems very keen for you to fit in to a team and develop. While some teams may only be able to offer limited time to your development, for the most part they want you to learn and develop.
If you do a good job and get on with a team that's hiring, you will probably get hired.
The Culture
Very sociable bunch of interns. All got on.
N/A
It's London, so this isn't hard.
A few Nomura sponsored activities, although I think they target the full-time employees more than the interns.
