The Role
Good insight into the business and how things work in a bank. Sometimes not much to do.
Great environment. Everyone makes you feel welcomed, included senior management.
Everything I had to do was very clear.
Some days were boring. Looking back I wish I had asked for more work, but wasn`t sure there was anything for me to do.
Enough to deal with serious matters to the bank. Some of the projects were more relevant than others.
I study economics, so working for the Investment office helped me out and broadened my knowledge.
The Company
Very nice, relaxed and welcoming.
It was quite organised for shadowing and insights into the business. Not as much with regards to the actual work we were supposed to do.
LBG does make you feel relevant to the organisation, and there is always the reminder of the Graduate Scheme.

Company Parties/Events
I will be applying for one. The Graduate scheme sounds like a very well structured program, and I am looking forward to see how my internship could develop into some more concrete day-to-day job.
The Culture
We mostly lived in the same housing, so it was very easy to socialise with the other interns.
London - nothing more to add.
Between Islington (where the residence is) and the City there is a good number of bars/pubs, and for a night out having Shoreditch at a walking distance is a great deal.
Always something to do in London, the Royal Albert Hall, the O2, the parks...
