The Role
The placement was a not only a valuable experience but an enjoyable one. It gave me an insight into the Real Estate world, allowing me to develop skills that I will carry with me throughout my career.
Consistently given responsibility for different aspects of projects that were being carried out.
If I was unsure with any work set, all my colleagues were more than happy to explain it to me.
Always occupied.
I was given a fair amount of responsibility, but given my limited real estate knowledge, I understand that I could not take charge of certain aspects on a project! Nonetheless, I was occupied on a daily basis, with the work I carried out being essential to the colleague it was for.
The skills I have developed during this internship are invaluable, ones that I will most certainly carry with me throughout my career.
The Company
Everyone in the office is outgoing and social, more than happy to take a moment out of their day to sit down and have a chat with you.
Each week there were activities lined up for the interns - ranging from departmental overviews, to city tours. The graduate recruitment team were always there to help if you needed it!
Savills invests in its interns by providing them with the information necessary to work in the real estate world. The make the effort to explain what Savills provides in terms of training and development if you were to join the firm on more permanent basis.

Savills is definitely a firm that I would love to work for!
The Culture
All the interns have been really sociable, going out for drinks once a week. The teams make the effort to take you out for both lunch and departmental social activities, so you feel right at home in the team.
Lived at home. Area is fairly expensive but it is central London!
Decent.
There are a range sports teams that you can get involved in!
