The Role
The internship as a whole fantastic, though I had a feeling that the position I was assigned did not necessarily reflect my skill set and interests. Nonetheless, colleagues were great, training was good, and plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and have fun.
Colleagues were nice, however, I felt the project I placed in required quite senior employees. This meant that they had a lot to do and an important personal life.
Consistent support and guidance by supervisor - always there to help me and give me the right contacts.
Some moments of work-related inactivity. However, I just used these times to continue my online training or socialise through the instant messenger at our disposal!
Given a lot of responsibility from day 1. Training was great.
The Company
Not the most exciting place to work at. The 'extra' activities planned by HR were a great way of making things more varied.
Amazing guidance from day 1 - HR kept in touch with us very often and the internship itself was organised with no evident hiccups at all.
The firm really made believe they wanted me 100%. Mid-reviews and final reviews were a good way of getting feedback and being able to develop on skills.

Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Employment prospects are fantastic if the fit is right between the company and the intern.
The Culture
Everybody got along extremely well and became good friends through the experience. Interns helped each other out with anything, gave good advice to each other and there was a healthy air of competition.
London is not the cheapest place to live in, but as student in London it did not come as a shock. In any case, the salary certainly did help a lot!
Good nightlife; many bars, pubs and some clubs. Obviously expensive in the City, but other areas in London are accessible too so it wasn't too bad.
Many opportunities available!
