The Role
I found the summer internship very useful and enjoyed it. The 3 months went very quickly and I gained valuable corporate awareness.
I quickly became very close friends with my colleagues as we were all similar in age.
Due to the busy nature of the business it was often difficult to receive one on one training
The business is busy by nature
There was a good level of autonomy during the placement. I was given an individual project to work on along side my day to day role
The placement did not directly link to my degree in Law, but I gained valuable sales and customer service skills.
The Company
Lively, friendly, busy, happy
The recruitment and training process was well organised
Most of the training was independent
Being willing to put the hours in to get a promotion
The Culture
Yes, being at the same University stage meant there was lots in common with the other trainees.
Travelling 40 minutes to work made fuel expensive
