The Role
I had an amazing six weeks with PwC. The people I met and the work I was involved with were stimulating and fun. I was given lots of responsibility, which made me feel like part of the team.
I felt extremely valued by my colleagues. I was asked for input at all meetings and felt that I was able to contribute to important decision making processes.
The support network was extensive. We had regular meetings with mentors and managers were always there to answer questions.
I was busy for the vast majority of the placement. The days literally flew by.
I was given a lot of responsibility from the outset. My colleagues trusted me with work they would have done themselves and a fellow intern and I were in charge of leading a project by ourselves.
The skills I developed are transferrable to a whole host of situations. A lot of what I have learnt will reflect in my academic performance as well as in personal situations.
The Company
The atmosphere was positive and supportive. Everyone took their work seriously but was happy to have a laugh.
The internship was very well prepared and organised. We generally knew exactly what the next step was and who to contact in what situations.
The firm invested a lot in my development and training. I felt very well prepared to set foot in the office after my induction.

Company Parties/Events
I am greatly looking forward to starting with the firm upon graduating from university.
The Culture
The interns met up regularly to socialise and catch up to discuss our various projects. It was great to see each other in and out of the working environment.
The cost of living and socialising was fairly average for the area of London we were in.
The nightlife in the area was great. Borough market was nearby and Shoreditch was just a few tube stops away.
PwC has many societies and clubs to get involved with.
