The Role
All of my colleagues are super lovely and wonderful. I got to work on some interesting projects.
I felt very valued. The work I was doing seemed useful as I elevated some of the high work load members of the team had. I helped people with their jobs whenever possible.
I sat right next to my manager and she was very helpful in guiding me.
It depended, some days I was way too busy some days I didn't have enough to do.
So much! I was responsible for a bunch of important tasks.
I have learnt many useful skills that will help me become more employable.
The Company
Everyone is very focused on their work yet people are still very friendly and happy to walk to the kitchen and have a chat.
It was pretty well organised. The first week was less well organised as I did not have much work to do.
This is a confusing question. I got a mentor that's cool.
National Travel
Arup is a very nice company if they offered me a job in a field I was interested in I would accept it.
The Culture
I did not have any. I was the only HR placement student. But the rest of my colleagues are lovely and we are good work friends.
I heard the north was cheap, I don't think its really as cheap as people say. Beers are still 5+. I did find a 99 ice cream for a pound once, that is cheap.
I could not tell you because I am in bed by 10 every night. I subprime it is wonderful. I heard there is a bingo club night, where you can win actual stuff, sounds great.
We went to dinner once, it was lovely. There were some more opportunities that I did not take up.
