The Role
The internship was really well organised and ensured I learnt as much as possible.
My colleagues were really supportive.
I had weekly one to one sessions and my manager was always available to ask questions. Really well supported.
I had a good amount of work to do but didn't feel overwhelmed.
After the first two weeks my manager let me take control of my project, this really helped me learn how to communicate with other colleagues well.
I learnt a lot of valuable skills that are not taught at university. The training provided was excellent and I feel like I learnt so much during the internship.
The Company
The atmosphere was relaxed and fun at times.
Very well organised, it was obvious that a lot of planning had been done. The extra events were great fun.
There was a surprising amount of investment in my training for just an internship, really helpful!
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
Very appealing, I really enjoyed working there and hope to return after my studies.
The Culture
There were plenty social events organised by recruitment, this helped me to get to know other interns. My team also went out a few times.
I found summer student accommodation for a good price, less than I thought it would be.
There were lots of bars and clubs in the area.
There were a number of events like pub quizzes and skills development activities.
