The Role
I had a fantastic time, I truly felt like doing meaningful and insightful work in a positive, nurturing culture. I had a brilliant experience and learned a great deal.
The culture was great, and I immediately felt good in my team. Colleagues in other teams were incredibly friendly and approachable as well, and I throughout the internship I always felt like my work was being greatly valued by all seniors.
Both my supervisor and manager were outstanding in the amount of time and support they dedicated to ensuring that I was learning a lot and making a strong contribution in the team, with regular feedback and training.
Throughout the internship, I never felt overburdened or bored, and I believe there was a good balance in my workload.
I was impressed by the amount of responsibility I was given, which is definitely uncommon as an intern. I always felt like my work was adding true value to the team, and often I was presenting my own views to seniors for approval.
I learned a great deal in the internship, and I believe that everything I learned, from the technical aspect of the job to the time-management skills and mentality, will undoubtedly help me a lot as I begin my final year of university.
The Company
The office was very friendly, with a comfortable business casual dress code.
The organisation of the internship programme was outstanding, with an extensive amount of useful trainings scattered around the ten weeks, as well as a number of stimulating and challenging case studies on top of the regular work to help us experience all sides of the job and go outside of our comfort zone.
I felt extremely treasured as an intern at J.P. Morgan, with several opportunities for us to not only learn a great deal of technical skills but also discover more of the firm, its employees, its senior management as well as London.

I was thrilled to be offered the opportunity of coming back to the firm as an Analyst after graduation, and I always felt like the firm does its best to nurture talent among the internship class.
The Culture
We got along really well among our intern class, often going out all together after work.
Not prohibitively expensive, although London, and especially Canary Wharf, tends to be on the pricier side for most things.
