  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The support provided from management was very useful, I would have continuous check ups from supervisors regarding my progress and what I thought about the company to ensure that I was getting on well and to check if I needed any help on any specific work.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The work at Arup was also frequent there would also be a task available for you to do which would help the project. Even if there was not a task available for you to work on the project then there was an opportunity for you to use the companies moodle site to help further your knowledge on your chosen topic. I found moodle very useful and provided me with alot of knowledge.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given alot of responsibility whilst at my internship at Arup, I was given the opportunity to attend internal coordination meetings as well as attending meetings with the architects. I was left alone to complete specific tasks which helped to save time for later in the project. After each task I would have a small review with the team leader to ensure that the task was completed to a good standard.
