  • Thoroughly!

  • Very valued, they have included me in everything.

  • A lot of support - the issue was that I should be asking for more.

  • A little too busy - but this was because of holidays.

  • I was surprised by how much!

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I asked if I could experience and learn computational fluid dynamic modelling and they offered my a project with it. Very lucky

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Positive and very social. Honestly a pleasant workspace with people often trying to include you and make more friends.

  • Very well organised - I was always offered support.

  • If I was interested in training and had the time to complete it, very always approved it. Exceptional for training.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Extremely appealing as the people are so lovely and the company clearly cares about its employees. The only thing would be whether I chose not to do process engineering (which is what I actually study).

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Not really as people lived all over, but things have been organised.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Cost of living was reasonable/relatively expensive as I lived in the city of Birmingham.

  • The nightlife in my area of work seems to be quite dull as the location is a business park.

  • Yes, there was an office society and someone organising outside events.
