  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a great experience, I learned so much and in such a short time. I've met so many people and everyone was so friendly and willing to help.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt very valued, my views and opinions were taken into consideration and I was held in the same regard as the full time members of staff. My manager put a lot of confidence and trust into me and always praised me for doing well.

  • My manager and assistant managers were great, they were always willing to help and always gave me praise and recognition for the hard work I was doing.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Extremely busy. We were short staffed so all had to work very hard and were really busy with the Fringe Festival

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given quite a lot of responsibility, I was training new start MT's when they arrived and was trusted to deal with sections of the business by myself.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It helped me to understand what it takes to manage and run a business in a fast paced environment.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The atmosphere and environment was great everyone was so friendly and helpful. The office banter was good and made the long hours easier.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I fell as though I was listened to and helped along the way with anything that I didn't understand. My manager checked in on me regularly to ensure I was coping and understanding everything.

  • Very appealing to come back after ive completed uni.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes really good. We all kept in contact and met up socially as well as in work.

  • Lived at home and travelled.

  • Yes lots of opportunities to take part in charity events and events such as PRIDE.
