    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The organisation was excellent but the hours were long and some people were not nice nor welcoming with the interns.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I have rotated in 2 teams. The first one made me lose my self confidence and was not welcoming, but the people on the second one were more than nice and welcoming. They valued me a lot and made me feel useful and valuable.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I think the HR should insist on the fact that line managers must provide actual work to the interns. My manager in my first team was only giving me exercises, which don’t show what I could bring to the team.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Sometimes I didn’t have much to do, and sometimes I had far too many things to do. It was not very well balanced.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given work that was reviewed by my managers before being sent to the clients, which is normal since I was only an intern.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I was challenged and learned how to focus on the clients needs. I also learned a lot about the fields in which I was working.

    4/5

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • My manager was doing a lot of jokes and made us feel comfortable.

  • 5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
