Summer Technology Analyst Review

It was an amazing opportunity, a great experience for me. I have improved my knowledge, my skills in an amazing team, that helped me always when I needed and supported me to develop myself, so for me it was a perfect environment to develop skills, to gain valuable experience, a big step for my career.

My team was awesome, they really appreciated my work and shared with me their opinions, ideas, they gave me feedback, that was important for me to know how well I did, to know what I can improve to do the things much better. Also, in my last day I felt really valued by my manager and the team.

I received support and guidance every time when I needed from my manager or from my team. They explained me all I needed and also gave me other information, they helped me to understand the whole process, to improve my knowledge about that part and also they shared with me their opinions.

I consider that it was a perfect balance of work per day. All was well organized, all the meetings, events were planned in advance, so I could manage my time efficiently, to do my tasks and attend all the meetings and events. Also, I communicated effectively with my manager and my team in terms of my tasks.

I consider I had the responsibility suitable for an intern in the company. The team and all the trainings helped me to understand the company, the principles of the company and what responsibility I have for my role in the company. Also, at the events from the beginning, the speakers informed us well about our responsibility.

I have gain a valuable experience in this company, it was an environment that allowed me to develop myself, to accumulate new skills that will be really useful for my studies and beyond. The Secure Code Warrior platform was a really good tool to improve my knowledge on security and also I did a little shadowing on mobile, area of which I am deeply interested.

It was a difficult for me because I could not sit next to my team, there was no space and I stayed near other team and it is a little more difficult to interact with other team. It is nice to have near you people you know, people from the same team for a good atmosphere.

The internship set up was well organized, we had all the information we needed, we have been informed which persons we need to contact for different questions we might have. We received emails, brochures with all the information we needed and also we received a structure of the internship, of all the events.

The company was a perfect environment to develop myself, to improve my skills, to gain valuable experience, it was a big step for my career. The company helped me to improve my coding skills, my technical skills, my finance knowledge, and also helped me to develop soft skills, team skills.

I have received an offer for the next summer. They were really open with me, my manager gave me a valuable feedback during the internship and also at the end of it. My manager shared her opinions about my work during the internship, and also said to me that she wants to go back to the team.

It was a really good social scene amongst any colleagues because we had a lot of events where we had the opportunity to socialize, to know each other, to share experiences, thoughts. Due to these events we have managed to socialize really good and we even made new friends around the world.

The cost of living and socialising in the area in which I have worked was really ok. I could afford a good accommodation near the company, in the centre of the city, I did not need public transport, the city is concentrate and I could afford a good lifestyle and I went at the events that interested me.

The Nightlife in the area I worked was really pronounced, a lot of diversity, but I am not a follower of Nightlife, for me the Nightlife it is not important, but for those who want I observed that in my area they can find a good Nightlife, a lot of pubs and bars.

There were a lot of opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work. We had the opportunity to get involved in a lot of programs of volunteering and also events, programs for different sports. We also had a responsibility day, in which I volunteered for the good of society. Also the programs of volunteering are diverse and there are also for technology domain.
