The Role
I really enjoyed my internship at JP Morgan. It was very well organised and I learned a lot of important hard and soft skills. I enjoyed the opportunity to contribute to the broader business and felt extremely valued by my colleagues.
My team made me feel very welcome and I could always ask for advise or help.
My manager was fantastic with regular catch ups and providing direction during the internship. Senior management were very friendly and approachable too.
Everyday was different and I was consistently busy with the team providing me insight into the day to day role.
I received more responsibility as the internship progressed and I was responsible for the projects that I delivered with guidance were required. I enjoyed the opportunity to complete projects which could be used by the broader business.
I developed a lot of skills during the internship which I will use for my future career. My manager was good at helping me receive lots of training.
The Company
The atmosphere was very relaxed and not as corporate as expected. My team got along really well and created a good atmosphere to work in.
The internship was very well organised with clear deadlines throughout and regular catch ups with my manager and HR.
I was provided with consistent training and the opportunity for further training where required. They invest a lot of time in your personal development and training over the internship.

I really enjoyed the internship and was fortunate to receive a return offer so I look forward to joining the team next year.
The Culture
The socialisation outside the office depended on the team but amongst the other interns it was fantastic with regular events and the right level of social interaction with my colleagues.
London was expensive compared to others places in England and it was more than I expected.
There are lots of different opportunities across London with loads of pubs and restaurants to cater for everyone.
There were opportunities including different events hosted by the firm and they were keen to encourage a good work-life balance.
