The Role
I had an incredible summer, both on a personal and professional level in the Investment Banking Division at J.P. Morgan.
Felt highly valued and received high-level responsibilities from day one.
All team members were very helpful and approachable in case help was needed.
Always had stuff to do as the staffers did a good job in terms of managing intern workloads.
Felt highly valued and received high-level responsibilities from day one.
As I study a Master's in Finance, the skills I have obtained during the summer are highly valuable, both in terms of my studies and for my career in Finance.
The Company
A very friendly and fun atmosphere - senior staff were also very approachable and social.
Very well structured and organised by the J.P. Morgan Recruitment team. A great balance between social events, training, senior speaker events and work with the teams.
They a lot of resources in training the entire intern class and provided useful feedback throughout the internship which was a great help for personal development.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Future employment prospects are very appealing as J.P. Morgan offer both team and geographic rotation which I find very attractive.
The Culture
The social scene among the other interns were good and I developed a lot of close and long-lasting friendships over the summer.
I lived a bit outside Canary Wharf, so the cost was not too bad. Canary Wharf offers a lot of great opportunities in terms of socialising and getting drinks with fellow interns and colleagues.
Nightlife was great in Canary Wharf with All Bar One located right next to the office which was taken advantage of most Fridays.
Several opportunities to get involved outside work - e.g. a mandatory corporate social responsibility day where all interns help out local communities with various activities.
