The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Was a great insight into the world of investment banking
They were all very encouraging and highlighted the value the interns added to the team.
I learned a great deal and everyone in the team acted as mentors
The work was of the intensity and level I expected going into the job
I was given an appropriate level of responsibility given my short time there
Transferable skills - I can certainly use them on my degree or in any other industry
The Company
The atmosphere was a happy one and everyone was very friendly, welcoming and encouraging. However, when necessary, people were professional and behaved formally. I think the company and especially my team struck a good balance between professionalism and friendliness
The campus recruitment team remained very organised throughout the whole process
Numerous trainings were set up throughout the course of the internship, designed to ensure we are equipped with the necessary tools to do work
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Healthcare/Dental
It’s a prestigious firm to be a part of and to be a part of that long standing excellence is a privilege to anyone
The Culture
Made friends for life on the internship and often met up and made plans on the weekends
London can be an expensive area, but as long as you know the right places to go for activities, it can be cheap.
Great nightlife and if you know the right places, reasonably priced.
On weekends the opportunities generally arose - weekdays there wasn’t all that much time
