The Role
It was by far the best internship I did so far. The projects I worked on were interesting, my team amazing and I learned a lot!
I was fully integrated into my team. Also, my opinion was valued at all stages.
I was allocated a buddy, who helped me to settle and who answered all possible questions. My people manager was responsible for making sure that I was on the right track and that I got out of the internship what I wanted to.
My team allocated me work all the time.
I was a full member of the team, taking the proper role of an associate. I did the research, which all analysis was based on.
I improved massively both my PowerPoint skills and Excel skills, which will prove invaluable when preparing coursework and my bachelor thesis. Also, the internship honed my analytical, communication and research skills.
The Company
Everyone was friendly and supportive which lead to an amazing atmosphere overall.
After a 5-day induction and basic training I was assigned to my first project. Before starting my second project I worked on a business development case.
We received a 5-day training on the basic skills, the company and IT.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I received a full-time offer to start as an associate.
The Culture
We went for coffee and for lunch. Additionally, we often went to restaurants and went out.
Living in London is generally quiet expensive. The general price level around the office was quiet high.
No real nightlife opportunities around but some bars.
Nothing was promoted to us directly but language courses.
