The Role
It was an absolutely amazing experience. The role was great and so was the team I worked with. There is a large student atmosphere too which makes the placement even better.
The best thing about Unilever I think is the people. Everyone is really kind and always there to help you whether it be your team or a different team in a completely different department. They are always there to help and provide you with advice for your role and for your future.
Once again, absolutely fantastic! You speak to your managers on a daily basis and even other senior members such as directors. They are all friendly and will help you as much as possible
I think it was a bit of a mixture, some days I have had full days of meetings and work whereas some days I probably had only a couple of hours of work. But the opportunity is there to explore other departments which makes it good.
I was actually quite shocked by the amount of responsibility I was given. It is all up for grabs, it is up to the individual to maximise the experience
I think the placement set a strong platform for me in the professional environment. I have definitely improved several skills and developed new ones

Not extremely cheap, but not too pricey either. It would suit student budgets
Pretty good nightlife! Some great nights out with the placement students
There is pretty much a club for every sport and activity! Free to join!
