The Role
I throughly enjoyed my internship, the people were beyond friendly and looked after me every step of the way. The program was strucutred extremely well and I always knew what to expect. I also learnt alot and when confused would always be guided in a non-patronising manner.
I felt very valued, colleagues understood my capabilites as an intern and would taylor my workload accordingly. I was included in the team socially and throughout the working day.
I was given guidance throughout my internship. My suppervisor was always available to be contacted and was always willing to help. I was also offered with feedback throughout my internship, so I could grow and develop.
Some weeks I was extremely busy, others there was nothing for me to do. This was not at the fault of the team but merely the lack of work during the summer months.
I was given alot of responsibility as I was carrying out client work and creating powerpoints to be used for client meetings. I was also responsble for a diverse range of tasks and I felt intrusted by the team.
My degree is not financial so this is unlikely to aid my university experience. However, I have learnt alot about programs such as Excel which will aid my develop as a member of the workforce.
The Company
Very relaxed and welcoming, but there was a hard working ethos.
Extremely well organised and structured.
I felt very invested in, with training on the job and a substantial amount of responsibility.
I would accept an oppertunity to continue working for EY.
The Culture
I felt as if I had known interns for years, we got on exceptionally well.
