The Role
I did not enjoy my internship at RBS. While there were sporadically tasks that were somewhat interesting, it was mostly tedious and repetitive, and in no way challenging.
My colleagues were always polite to me, but they weren't particularly friendly or inclusive.
My line manager was often absent, and gave me only very superficial guidance.
Throughout my ten-week internship, there were only a few days were I was actually busy. Most mornings I got so bored that I ended up just reading newspapers for hours.
There weren't a lot of tasks that were of wider significance to the business.
This is not really applicable to my situation, as my studies do not relate to this internship.
