The Role
It has been absolutely valuable year for me, not just as real work experience, but also meeting many interesting and talented people at Disney.
The work environment of the team which I work in was extremely friendly and open. It is multi cultural and with young professions. So I really enjoyed working with them.
My manager and colleagues had provided me a fully comprehensive training as well as professional development and support. They encouraged me to get involved in several important tasks and meetings, helping me to gain more understanding of the department functions.
I had various job routines which needed to be met in different deadlines.
I have been given a high level of responsibility as the main procedures in my department are dependent on my work output. This has motivated me as well to provide better and better quality of work.
The Excel skills I have developed during the internship at Disney are those I have not been learning at university and they are so useful for my further study. Also I have improved my analytical skills dramatically as well as abilty for problem-solving.
The Company
As at Disney, everyone's work desk is just all about TOYS!! The atmosphere is informal and relaxing workplace.
As a starting point I have been given a two-week training with previous intern. Then along with my internship as getting used to the job, my manager has provided me an opportunity to participate in a complete audit abroad!!
