The Role
All in all I really enjoyed the placement. Of course there are always times, when work is more and less exciting, but I was always given interesting tasks.
I was fully integrated into the department, but every now and then they made clear that I am just an intern and not allowed to know and do certain things.
My manager always gave me support, when needed and understood that a new intern makes mistakes every now and then.
At the beginning of the internship, I had almost too much work and in the end did not know what to do with my time. So I only had 2-3 months with the perfect workload.
Quite a lot, but I liked it. I was given my tasks at the beginning and could work on them all alone.
I did not learn too much, as I was given tasks at the beginning, which never changed throughout the internship. So I only learned quite a lot at the beginning and in the end not so much. Nevertheless, the Bosch Build programme was very good!
The Company
It was quite strict and we always had to follow the processes very precisely, but everyone was always friendly.
As the interns in my department change every 6 months, everything worked out well.
With the Bosch Build programme, we were supported quite well!

Bosch provides a retention programme, which should help to stay in touch. Only the best interns get in, after being recommended by your supervisor.
The Culture
Especially the foreign students developed a nice community. We had quite a few barbecues and were travelling.
London is not the cheapest place, but with the salary of Bosch it is fine.
It is London, so there quite some possibilities to go out.
Bosch offered only very few, like football and badminton. But there is a lot of thins you can do in London.
