The Role
Fantastic atmosphere, great exposure & contact building and lots of opportunities to grow and learn.
The vast majority of colleagues were not even aware I was a placement student, and even if they did, I was valued the same as other colleagues.
My line manager was fantastic, and had consistent support from senior managers and even heads of division.
Varying workloads throughout the year.
Lots of exposure to senior contacts and stakeholders creates lots of responsibility, which is to be expected.
There are so many opportunities to grow, and industrial placements are encouraged to attend as much training as they can whilst on placement.
The Company
Great people and teamwork, but lots of external pressure to deliver.
Clear and concise placement, with consistent support from HR and my department.
I was encouraged to attend as much training as possible, in a wide variety of fields.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Travel loan
I have a confirmed graduate role for after university.
The Culture
Made some amazing friends on placement.
Central London, as expensive as you would expect.
Always buzzing nightlife, but expensive, make the most of happy hour!
There are sports teams etc, but I was not a part of any.
