The Role
It was a great experience; the days were long as you had your working hours and then often had events after work, but there was good exposure to the company overall.
Staff were extremely friendly regardless of position.
This varied depending on the desk; probably less guidance than I expected but this was to see how I interpreted the tasks.
Some days were extremely busy; others less so. Dependent on the desk/day of the week.
Work completed was actually used by staff so it was important.
Very useful skills for any corporate environment.
The Company
Fun, active staff who facilitated a great working environment
Depends on the desk but HR are very helpful
Various training sessions
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Offered a place on the graduate programme
The Culture
Yes - great group of students keen to socialise outside of work.
Reasonable 'London' prices but obviously it varies a lot dependent on th establishment.
Not too much time for nightlife as it takes a while to adjust to the working hours!
There was one whole work day spent on charitable work
