The Role
I looked forward to coming to work, despite being tough at times.
It was hard to feel valued to a great extent when you are starting from the bottom.
I was provided a formal and informal support network.
Always tasks to complete and if they were finished before deadline then there is always reading to be done for your own personal benefit.
All work was checked but most of the work was submitted / used.
Not very applicable to my degree, only to one finance module.
The Company
Very flat structure in the office. I was sitting next to or opposite my managers on both rotations and felt at ease when approaching them.
Very well planned, with events held for all interns throughout the internship.
One week of training given to all interns at the beginning but there was continual more informal training given throughout the internship
I would be very happy to work here again
The Culture
There were events organised by HR for all interns every few weeks and there was the occasional event held with fellow colleagues within each division.
London is expensive both for rent, drinks, eating and travel. But we were helped with this with a one-off living bonus.
Lively bars.
If you organised them yourself- then yes.
