The Role
Really enjoyed it and found it an extremely valuable experience. Everyone was lovely and made me feel very welcome.
On the client site the colleagues were lovely. There was another intern on the project with me and we were made to feel part of the team straight away including going for dinner/drinks with them after work and when having to stay over on the client site.
She was constantly on hand to help and even did us a review and called to check we were ok on her annual holiday. She always looked out for other opportunities for us.
Mostly had enough to do. Occasionally couldn't help too productively however I think that was probably due to the nature of the project.
Some responsibility in some areas.
It consolidated existing skills and the real-life work place skills were very valuable.
The Company
Fantastic atmosphere where everyone was lovely, chatty but still worked hard. Made it enjoyable to come into work every day.
Very well - lots of organised activities and constant support
As well as internship training, I attended two internal training sessions as part of the project.
Subsidised Canteen
I was offered a job at the end of the internship.
The Culture
Even though I was at a client site 4 days a week, met all the other interns and didn't feel I missed out. Always pub on a Friday after the office. The first two days on a residential was good to meet all the other interns before the office work started.
Expensive as it was in London.
London has a lot to offer.
Other than socialising, not really. But I didn't feel more was needed.
