The Role
I loved every moment of it. Throughout the Internship I was encouraged to really push myself and as a result, I can walk away from my internship knowing I have immeasurable growth and I've had the best year! I am so pleased to of had given the opportunity to be a part of this internship and i'd recommend it to anyone.
Throughout my internship, I was always valued by colleagues. I was not once seen as an 'intern'. I was always respected and my opinions and suggestions were always taken and considered. I was also made to feel like a FTE and this was the reason why I was able to flourish.
Throughout my time, I was encouraged to speak to mentors, build my network within my team and beyond. As a result, whenever I needed support or guidance, it was always available for me. The support and guidance stemmed from different people of differing jobs and needs, so this meant my support was well rounded. Everyone was also super friendly and approachable, so I never felt alone.
I had the perfect balance of being busy and being able to take it a little slower than usual. Each week I learnt so many different things and never felt bored or like I didn't have enough of a workload. If ever I felt like this, which was a rarity, a simple chat with my manager resulted in small projects to work on.
As I've mentioned before, I was treated like a full time employee. I believe I was given the level of responsibility that allowed me to develop. I was never put in a situation where I felt out of place, more so the opportunity to refine skills of mine to become a better version of myself.
I have walked away from my internship with skills, training and guidance that puts me good stead for my final year at university. I am completing my dissertation on a topic I found whilst on placement, I am very pleased that the skills I have learnt will help me in my final year and beyond.
The Company
They really looked after me and made sure I improved on the skills and areas of interest that i'd like to to make the most out of my year. I always felt incredibly supported and encouraged to really work on myself with the guidance of the team and company overall.

The Culture
Interns, Apprentices and MACHS have committees within the organisation to encourage social events amongst each other. it is a real treat to have and I was very happy to be a part of it. It meant we could shape our social development as well and make the most of the time we had with one another.
My University was very good with staying in touch with me and allowing me to return and support students with applying for placement schemes.
