About You
I worked with a number of IDDA staff, on a number of projects assigned to me for my work experience and also on projects which they were working on. The culture was hard working but if and when I needed help. The hardest part of the job was working on some of the projects which I was given to do, as there were parts which I did not know, but once I had some help and explanation, it became enjoyable to work on.
Great company to work and first full time job with great balance between job and live. I had the opportunity to establish direct exposure to multiple teams which has helped me to improve my interpersonal skills and gain further knowledge through our interactions. They always made sure that I felt valued.
JP Morgan as a whole is a very reputable organisation which was i privileged to work with for about a year, within two departments. The most interesting part of the one of the roles is the flexibility of working from home but there was no work life balance as i used to work round the clock both at home and in the office.
I was able to develop a variety of skills which have certainly helped me in my career. JPM is prestigious firm and it is an privilege to have been part of such a great firm. All the people are professional and work was deliver at the high standard. Love this place and still miss my JPM team.
The Company
I learned a lot over the one year course and it taught me about how to cope with different situations in life. For example, time management, how to deal with feedback from others etc. The most enjoyable thing about this course was being mentored by people that work in the firm as they helped to build my character.
A well rewarding place to work if you are willing to work hard. If you are willing to give all to the organisation and forego some personal life, then the rewards are worthwhile. The atmosphere was truly fantastic at all times, the staff were very friendly and always willing to help me.
The staff put a lot of effort to make sure I was developing skills that made me better as a candidate. JPM has a real identity and culture that is present in all its businesses. The Private Bank is a collegiate place where people know each other and you get an insight into other functions.
Most people are good to work with. They are helpful and bosses are very approachable. Hours can be quite long though. But the job does give very valuable experience. Everyday was exciting and you learn a lot from the traders. Sometimes the situation can get rather stressful but if you thrive on stress, this is a good place to work.
JPM looks after its employees, with mobilility at heart for those that wish to move on within the complany. The management support their team members with respect and continue to improve the working environment. Very good productive environment where people can develop professionally and personally. High standards of constant deliveries where success is rewarded.
Office vibe was super friendly and professional. Learned so much about the UK financial world. Management were young and funky. The culture was very diverse and lots of interesting people work there. The number crunching was a bit boring at times, but the office banter kept everyone feeling upbeat and like we were all part of a family.
