The Role
It was great. Very interesting experience and many opportunities that the Bank offers.
Quite valued
Having worked in a small team, I felt that I could easily approach any of the seniors in case I had questions as well as the Bank cultivates approachable atmosphere
The workload varied deepening on the period over a month/quarter; generally mid month-end month wasn't too busy, whereas beginning of the month was generally quite occupied
Moderate amount - over the course of the year responsibilities given grew pretty quickly.
Excel skills, ability to work more independently and coding skills
The Company
Friendly and Approachable
At some point over the course of the placement it has felt more like a proper job rather than placement so I felt like sometimes I had to organize my placement a bit more to make most of opportunities offered.
Quite a bit: various seminars and courses are readily available upon joining as well as online learning modules.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
The Culture
In the beginning, though over the course of the year it has slightly deteriorated.
Quite high
Many Charity and sport events outside of work
