  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • JN Bentley provided me with an opportunity to learn how to become a young professional. This experience was invaluable for my development.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • JN Bentley is an organisation that has grown from a small family business to a leader in the UK construction and Civil Engineering industries. However, it still has that "family feel" and you're not on placement to just make up the numbers.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • I was given a lot of responsibility from day one on my placement. Without the support and guidance from senior management, my team and my line manager, I would have struggled to deal with my workload.

    • Very Busy! However, I loved the intense nature of my placement and thrived in the pressure environment.

    • As mentioned earlier, the skills I developed on Placement has turned me into a professional employee. I have a lot of learning and developing to do but I am a lot more comfortable within a working environment and that's all thanks to JN Bentley.
