The Role
I really enjoy my summer at RBC because of the culture and the people working at this bank.
I learned a lot there. Everybody is really patient. They really took time to explain everything to me. I appreciate that.
If I have any doubt, I just asked my line manager. They make sure you understand what you have to do.
I always have something to do. I was never bored.
I got really interesting project. Sometimes, the team uses what I’ve done for them and it’s gratifying to see that your work is actually useful.
I am French. I have never networked. I was not used to it. This experience has definitely give networking skills I would never get otherwise.
The Company
The atmosphere was really sympathetic. People in the office are really friendly.
It was quite well organized. The HR team accompany each intern during the online application until the last day of the internship. We were rightly guided every time.
Everyone got an access to Bloomberg, which was pretty impressive. The company organized a lot of networking/volunteering event. We also had a workshop in a theatre to work on our communication skills and to learn how to deal with stress. It was really instructive.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I got an offer and I am really looking forward to joining them.
The Culture
Absolutely! Among interns, we went to have some drink after work and we spend the last day all together.
I think it was okay.
Some people go out to have some drink, some others just go home. It really depends on each individual.
Yes, a lot! There is a couple of networking, volunteering or humanitarian event throughout the year.
