The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement with Charlton Morris and would highly recommend other to do this placement. It is hard work but the personal development and financial rewards you can gain through working for Charlton Morris are second to none.
When you join you enter a small team and immediately you are made to feel welcomed. There is great team spirit and when you succeed in the job by successfully placing candidates you are congratulated as if you were any other employee
The support is fantastic throughout this placement. upon starting you are given excellent training covering all aspects of the job. Once your training is complete and you are let loose into your specific market you will be then guided by a senior consultant and a tea leader on a day to day basis. furthermore if you ever need help you are encouraged to ask questions.
This is not the sort of placement where you can expect to making teas and coffee. Being a sales target driven job you are expected to work hard in a high pressure environment but at the same time this made my days and weeks fly by.
In this placement you are given exactly the same responsibility as all other consultants and are expected to hit the same targets as graduates and people who have been in the job a long time.
For me I chose this placement as I wanted to gain sales experience for after university. My year at Charlton Morris not only gave me this, but really exposed me to how businesses operated and exposed me to working in a global environment which I highly doubt I would have gained on many other placements.
The Company
It is a young office and as a result it is great fun. At times you all work hard but as a result you are also treated well and has great staff benefits.
