The Role
I really enjoyed my internship. The most interesting days were the days when I shadowed partners. I enjoyed the whole 6 weeks though as the people were all supportive and friendly.
I felt valued by my colleagues as they said they work I had done really helped them.
My supervisors were really helpful and encouraging.
The balance was good. I was given work to do, and also a group project with other people on internships in London. This project was good as it enabled me to meet other interns in different service lines. I also really enjooyed teh work I did as I worked on a really interestign project.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility.
I dramatically improved my excel skills!
The Company
The atmosphere was fun, each day there was a quiz in the afternoon which kept a team atmosphere throughout the day. the office had a better atmosphere when there were more people present.
It was organised well. At the beginning all the interns went to stay in North London and we were taught the basics of assurance. This was helpful and fun. We were also aloocated buddies and people managers to look at our progress. The people managers were particularly helpful.
I think they invested quite a lot. They provided a short trainign course at the beginning of the 6 weeks, they provided people managers who invested time in us, allowed us to shadow partners, and invited us t their summer ball!

Company Parties/Events
I think future employment prosepects within the organisation are very appealing.
The Culture
Yes, this was helped as we all met in North London on a few days trainig at teh beginning of the 6 weeks. Each Firday tehre was somethign organised, and the interns were often invited to office parties.
I lived at home during my internship as this was a 40 minute commute out of London. I don't remember the socialising being too expensive.
Really good, I worked in central London.
Yes there were sports teams and charity days.
