The Role
I really enjoyed working at RCI, the people, the location, the culture was very positive.
I felt like that my colleagues respected my views and opinions, which made me feel respected.
I think management work really hard to accommodate interns needs and requests.
some days where very relaxed and others very intense, depending of the work I was assigned.
I was given good amount of responsibility as I was interacting directly with business affiliates and managers.
I feel like I learnt a lot of new skills during my placement and I definitely think they will help me to finish my degree.
The Company
very calm and relaxed atmosphere, people generally friendly and engaging.
I don't feel like the placement was well organised as I mostly had to find my own work.
the company is very keen on learning, and I feel like I was given all the tools I needed to progress in the task I was given.
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
i feel RCI is a good global company and there is definitely chance to grow as individuals
The Culture
other placement students where friendly and we got along pretty quickly, we went to multiple night outs and had lots of fun.
depends where you live, Rickmansworth is a small town so there isnt much to do, while Watford is a bit more lively. in terms of cost of living, its not very cheap
night life is alright if you happen to live in Watford, else is non existent.
there wasn't really much to do around the area I lived, so most times I would be chilling at home.
