About You
The insight was great, I met people from different universities and from various backgrounds; the company in itself is amazing, the culture there is very open-minded and international which really made me want to work there in the future.
The team that organised the insight really made us feel comfortable and valued; they organised different activities, talks, networking events, etc for us to get an overarching view into working at the company, and the varying people that came in to give talks to us about what they did on a daily basis really took the time to explain and made sure to answer any question we had.
This insight really made me fall in love with the company; I am 100% confident in my career path now because I loved the insight so much; they provide you with the exact right amount of information within the 3 days there that will enable you to work out whether this is for you or not.
The various tasks we were given and the networking events we had during the insight truly developed my communication skills and have actually really benefited me later on.
The Company
The insight in itself was perfectly organised and timed-out; we always had something to do, everything was very interesting. You could really tell that the company invested its time in making our experience the best that it could.
The atmosphere there is great; the other students there were very nice and open and the people that work at the company were very welcoming and took the time for each of us to ask questions. The general atmosphere was very casual but still serious which made me feel very comfortable.
I think the firm and the people that talked to us really did the best they could to expand our knowledge on finance and business within the financial industry and personally this was the deciding factor in terms of knowing what I want to do once I graduate.
The different speakers at talks and the networking events that were organised for us really helped me understand what the employees in different offices and at different levels do within the firm.
The company culture at the firm was very strong in the sense that you could tell all of the employees had the same attitude towards work and really shared the same values in terms of being passionate about the work in itself but also about being open-minded and critical and being very driven, which is also something that I identified with.
Extremely valuable; I applied for there summer internship for next year.
Everything Else
I was paid and reimbursed expenses for travelling and if you did not live in London the firm also covered the expenses for your hotel.
Yes, we had networking events everyday and the people were very open and nice to all of us.
The social opportunities were relaxed to makes us feel comfortable which really helped! And the people speaking with us were very nice.
Yes, there were many business groups that employees are able to join.
Absolutely I think even if you do not end up wanting to pursue this as a career once you have done this, it is still an incredible experience.
