About You
Overall, it was a great experience and an interesting opportunity to network with some of the graduates there. It provided a significant level of insight into the application process and some statistics on them, as well as some useful tips on being a successful applicant.
I was treated well - with kindness and respect. However, I felt at times that there were too many other students for me to be able to feel valued.
There was always someone to offer help when needed with a group of very friendly staff.
Generally was an informative event. Networked with some interesting employees who gave inspiring talks.
The Company
Clearly and productively structured with a fun trading exercise in groups. Although, would have preferred better feedback between the rounds so that we could learn from it, as it felt like we were just betting on companies at times.
Very friendly environment with plenty of support on offer.
In term of personal training and development, I don't think that many skills were necessarily acquired as it was more informative than practical, plus there were too many people there.
It gave an insight into the company's different teams, the environment and the hierarchy system. It also provided us with the knowledge of workload and working hours.
I learnt about how integrity and responsible investing is held highly with M&G. Also, the employees described how they collaborate with colleagues, managers and customers.
relatively useful.
Everything Else
Yes during lunch.
They were useful as I got to talk to someone for quite long. Generally there were too few employees for the number of students that there were.
No
If they have not gone through the application process and don't know what asset management is then yes.
