About You
A very well organised day that provided a good background understanding of both M&G Prudential and asset management. There were trading exercises throughout the day which broke the day up nicely.
All the members of staff that participated in the day were very engaging and encouraged us to ask questions. The careers team were very helpful in providing us with details regarding contacting members of staff and wanting us to engage with the staff.
Throughout the day, as the careers team hosted the day they were constantly on hand to answer questions. A panel hosted by current and recent graduates gave useful feedback and insights into improving our understanding of the company and the graduate roles.
It was a good networking opportunity meeting professionals who have worked in the industry for multiple years. The information provided throughout the day will help complete applications for roles.
The Company
Well planned organised day from talks, Q&As and the trading exercises.
All members of staff were very friendly. The trading exercises allowed the students chance to engage with each other.
As it was a one day insight it was more about providing information and insights into the company.
The talks from various members of staff, from; recent graduates through to senior managers it gave the full spectrum of what it is like at the start of your career and later down the line.
Very well. As the there were talks from different members of staff it was important to hear about the company both at the start of the career and later down the line. They could not speak higher of the company.
It was a very good insight providing information about the company. It provided me with a better understanding of the different teams and roles involved in the business. This will in turn allow me to come to a better decision regarding which path are appropriate for me.
Everything Else
This was an insight day and an unpaid work experience.
There was a lunch which was setup as a speed networking. We were able to speak to members of staff from all over the business and gauge a better understanding of roles which were may not have been previously considered.
All of the members of staff were very warming and supportive of asking questions.
They helped us understand that there are different days throughout the year including internships that will help improve people's chances of career opportunities.
Definitely. It was very useful for people who still want a better understanding of potential career paths.
