About You
Its a nice bank because it gives enough support to its staff including career development skills and pays its employees in time, we get medical insurance ,free airtime and rewards are normally given to best performers at the end of the month as away of motivating other colleagues to perform. I had a good time.
We always have someone to help with questions in which we may not have the answers right away in order to assist with the right information for the customer. The workplace is very manageable for you to help the customers. Assisting the customers can get a little challenging but you just have to keep your head in the game and give the best customer service that you can.
I received plenty of support during my time. I enjoyed every moment of my work experience at Barclays the team I worked with were exceptional in regards with dealing with any issues and from thus experience I have built up my confidence with talking to customers when working and knowing the right ways to approach them.
I was able to learn a lot about the functions of the business and how it operates on a daily basis. I was greeted by my mentor who inteoduced me to the rest of the team. I was given a tour of the workplace in order to familiarise myself with the surroundings as well as a runover the health and safety. I was then assigned a role which would vary based om how quickly i was able to understand and execute the tasks.
The Company
The insight programme was very well structured, with plenty of effort put in by my supervisor. Learned a lot - happy for experience. I would not trade the years for anyplace else. I met many wonderful friends & managers. I learned a lot of new things that will be beneficial to me and other companies.
I liked that everyone is friendly and everyone helped me grow and learn new skills for the worked area I was able to choose what I do and who I worked with and was able to learn from different people. It gave me a good idea of what work is like here
The team looking after me, put in a lot of time and effort to make my time valuable. This job really helped me to learn a lot about people and the environment as you get a chance to build a close relationship with staff team in Barclays Bank and also help customers while shadowing the team .
Barclay had an extremely good work environment. Most staff members were energetic and great team members. Enabled me to learn more about the working industry. I learnt about real life scenarios that will help me later in life (these things weren't learnt in school). There were a mixture of cultures which allowed Barclays to cooperate extremely well.
Everyone working there was prepared to help one another, and this is something that stood out to me. I enjoyed my time within Barclays, learning new skills and furthering my banking knowledge immensely. I would recommended working for this company- all stakeholder relationships are hard to obtain but you will learn whilst on the job.
The experience allowed me to see the world of banking, and understand what it would be like to work in this field. Barclays is a reputable company that allows any individual to gain a lot of experience. it provides employees great career progression and helps and supports in getting to the next step.
