About You
The trailblazing open day was really enjoyable! There was a good range of talks, from the firm's history and the career paths of partners to application tips. I found the application tips especially useful as the Taylor Wessing application form is quite lengthy in comparison to other firms so it was nice to see what they were looking for.
I felt valued during my time at the firm because everyone was friendly and approachable. There was lots of interaction with current trainees, who had varied pathways to the firm, which showed that they cared about us interacting with people currently at the firm. The open day was really thoroughly planned and structured which also showed that they valued our participation there.
I particularly enjoyed the business game, which gave me an opportunity to apply the business knowledge that I have into applicable advice for a company. I found that the feedback on the group presentation was genuinely insightful and valuable. In addition, the application help and guidance was great because they also included information relevant to other firms, as well as at Taylor Wessing.
The Company
The content of the day definitely confirmed that I want to apply to Taylor Wessing for a vacation scheme. Talking to current trainees in different seats about their experiences also helped me to not be so set on certain seats, and it was reassuring to hear that you might have the best time in a seat you wouldn't think of initially choosing.
